Mr. S. Ramasubramanian
Mr. S. Ramasubramanian has been appointed as Non-Executive Director of UBI Services Ltd on May 2, 2024. Shri S. Ramasubramanian also assumed office as Executive Director of Union Bank of India w.e.f. from November 21, 2022.
Prior to joining Union Bank of India, he held the position of Chief General Manager at Canara Bank. He has over 25 years of rich experience in various facets of Banking including Corporate Credit, MSME, Retail Credit, International Credit and FOREX. He is a Science graduate and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
Throughout his banking career he has led effectively under various capacities; both in operations and administrative areas. He has executed leadership roles across various segments namely; Prime Corporate Credit Wing, Large Corporate, Mid Corporate Branches including a stint at Hong Kong Branch of Canara Bank. The India Banks’ Association (IBA) having recognized his expertise and invaluable insights into Credit; secured him membership in their Standing Committee for Corporate Credit in the past. Similarly, he was also participated in the Kamath Committee on COVID related Loan Restructuring.
Mr. Prakash Baliarsingh
Mr. Prakash Baliarsingh was Chief General Manager of Department of Regulation, Reserve Bank of India. He was a career central banker and having rich experience of more than 3 decades with various Departments of Reserve Bank of India (majorly with Department of Supervision and Department of Regulation). He has headed Retail Resources, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Transaction Banking, Credit card, New initiatives, and Recovery departments at Central Bank of India as Chief General Manager.
He has acted as Principal Inspecting Officer/Senior Supervisory Manager for leading commercial banks. He was also member of various committees/sub committees formed by the Reserve Bank of India related to Asset Quality Review (AQR) of banks, Risk Based Supervision as well as Supervisory Programme for Assessment of Risk and Capital (SPARC). He also represented Reserve Bank of India as a member in International Committees.
He is a Postgraduate in Political Science and also completed M.Sc. (Finance) from Oxford Brookes University, UK. He was a recipient of Reserve Bank of India’s Golden Jubilee scholarship. He is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. Shri Prakash Baliarsingh is on the Board of Union Bank of India as RBI Nominee Director with effect from 14th July 2023.
Mr. Ramesh Lakshman Adige
Mr. Ramesh Lakshman Adige, Non-Executive Independent Director is a B.E (Hons) from BITS Pilani & has a Post Graduate degree from the Faculty of Management Studies, Univ of Delhi. He has almost five decades of wide & in depth experience, in the areas of Banking & Insurance, Marketing, Branding, Consumer durables, Automotive industry, Pharma, Global CorpComm and Healthcare. In addition, Ramesh is adept at EHS and MDG/ESG administration, CSR, Sustainability reporting, Intellectual property policy, Public affairs, Public Policy, & Higher Education. He was Ind Dir on the Board of SyndicateBank & SUD Life and Fortis Healthcare. Ramesh was member of the BOG of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. He was Executive Director on the Board of Fiat India, and Ranbaxy. He was Chairman of the PHD Rural Development Foundation. He was President of the Governing Council of ARAI, Pune, the premier institute for validation, homologation & certification of all automotive and allied industries. He was a Member of the National Pharmacopeia Commission & National Formulary of India. After finishing his terms on various boards, he continues to be on the Board of LIC Housing Finance Ltd, Union Bank of India Services Ltd and Fortis Malar Hospital Ltd. He is also Founder Member of the BioDiversity Foundation of NCT of Delhi chaired by the Lt Governor of Delhi. Ramesh has worked, in leadership roles in highly regulated & complex industries, and in challenging geographies such as India, USA, Europe and Africa, with a successful track record of building and managing the Brand and company reputation. The focus always being on value creation and positive outcome for stakeholders. His other interests are- Natural history, Ornithology & Tree Planting.
Mr. Ram Krishna Sinha
Mr. Ram Krishna Sinha, has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director of UBI Services Limited. Shri Ram Krishna Sinha joined the Bank of India as a Direct Recruit Officer in 1982, after completing his Post-graduation in Physics, with distinction. With professional degrees of CAIIB and MBA (Finance), Shri Sinha had set high standards at work, both in India and abroad.
Apart from his stint in Nairobi, Kenya, as Advances Head, he had closely worked with McKinsey & Co. on Change Management as part of his Bank’s mega reorganizational initiative. He also served as Dy. General Manager- International Operations, overseeing the Bank’s over sixty overseas outlets across the world. Later, as General Manager-Learning & Development and Business Process Re-engineering, in the Bank’s Corporate Office in Mumbai, he brought about novel changes in the areas of learning, training and business processes.
An award-winning writer, Shri Sinha has authored the motivational book “X-Factor @ Workplace”. An Opinion Columnist for CEOWORLD Magazine, he writes extensively on Banking & Finance, Business Strategy, Corporate and Public Policy issues of importance in top newspapers and magazines. He has done “Executive Education” in Strategic Communications at IIM-Calcutta.
Mr. Sinha is currently on the Board of Bank of India Trustee Services Pvt Ltd, as an Independent Director.
Mr. Sanjay Rajoria
Mr. Sanjay Rajoria is a distinguished leader in the financial services industry, currently serving as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UBI Services Ltd. With nearly three decades of rich and diverse experience, he has built a reputation as a seasoned banker and a specialist in wealth management.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rajoria has held pivotal roles across leading financial institutions including ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Yes Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank. His expertise spans across NBFCs, distribution networks, advisory firms, and retail banking, where he has consistently driven performance through strategic leadership and customer-centric innovation.
Notably, he played a key role in establishing the retail banking operations of Doha Bank in India, overseeing operations across India, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait. He also served as the Head of Retail Banking at SVC Bank, where he was instrumental in shaping the bank’s customer engagement and product strategy.
Mr. Rajoria brings a holistic approach to sales and customer lifecycle management, with a proven track record in leading large teams and delivering results across liabilities, assets, and wealth solutions.
Academically, he is a Cost Accountant (AICMA), a Management Graduate (MBA), a Fellow in Life Insurance (FIII), and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence.
